I am dedicated to serving our community and ensuring that every child in Oconee County continues to have access to a high-quality education. I earned my PhD in 2019 from NC State University in Science Education.

About Me

As a candidate for the Oconee County school board, I bring nearly thirty years of experience as an educator to the table. My passion lies in fostering excellence in education, and I am committed to prioritizing effective instruction, safe learning environments, and success for all students. I am running for school board to serve my community and keep the focus on education.

My family

My husband, Pryor, and I love living in Oconee County. He is retired from the Virginia Department of Corrections. Our son Daniel is a personal trainer in Rhode Island and our daughter Josie is a freshman at UGA. We enjoy traveling and seeing live music.
